* Music plays, Avox behind the camera signs for 3... 2... 1.... Snap!*
Good evening everyone, and welcome back from our break! (waits for crowd that has gathered near the stage to quiet) I am coming to you live from the Capitol, and am here to introduce each and every tribute to you this evening.
At this time I would like to call District 9's tribute to the stage.... William Scratch! (waits for them to come in) Good evening William, and I am sincerely sorry for under which circumstances on which we are meeting. However cheer up darling, you may bot bee a career, but you certianly are a dashing young man. Who knows you may beat the odds! Please sit down, just try not to disturb your costume too much, it could sell for allot of money later on if you win.... (waits for Tribute to sit down)
Now I have a distinct set of questions to ask you. These are be generic questions I will ask each tribute, just so that everyone gets to know you. Who knows some of this information could get you some extra nice things in the Arena. However be warned, I may throw in a random question just for you.
We all know that all the tributes will be fighting for their lives, but there is almost always a driving force behind the winners. Tell me William, do you have anything, or anyone, really special you will be fighting to come home to?

" Nothing is true, everything is permitted, nothing is true, everything is permitted. The future is what we make it." William muttered inwardly off stage, carefully considering his words. He had seen these interviews a dozen times before, nand played his own interview out in his head while he watched the previous hunger games. This was an important part of a game. He had to put on a good show for the crowd. This was not the place for his usual self, this was a time for masks and cloaks. As of now he was not William, he was an actor about to ascend to the stage and his mind had to be clear. His act had to be perfect. He had to appear mundane, so the working man no matter what his district could associate and sympathise with him. He had to be humerous to remind the auidence he was a human being, he had to appear hoplessly romantic and somewhat forlorn and brooding to appear to the female crowd and above all he had to let this...pathetic excuse at humilation work for him.
When his name was called William jogged up the stairs to the stage and waved to the camera's as he walked to the crowd, a sheepish smile on his face. He even went as far as to shake Mister Gee's hand with a grin before seating himself opposite. "Nonesense..." William stated, waving away the apology. " Not often I get to meet a celebrity, I don't suppose an autograph is out of the question is it?" Carefully propping himself up, an easy smile on his lips as he regarded Sweeny with that hawks gaze. " Ask away." William stated with a strangely cheery tone in his voice. Mimicing the host's mannerisims yet with a slight undertone of mocking in his voice.
The forst question was merely to establish his character to the auidence, no doubt bets were being placed and the more bets placed on him the ....easier things would be. " Ohh I'm...Afraid not you see my parents have both passed on and I have no sweethearts... However I hope to survive this game so that one day...Not too far from now you can sit in that chair with that smile on your face and ask me that exact same question and I'll be able to reply 'Yes' because I've found someone who I'd fight untill from my bones my flesh is hacked." A little line from Shakesphere, Macbeth to be precise throne in at the end there. Just to annoy the censorship. Sipping from the small glass of water that had been left out for him William awaited the next question.
